Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
Beautiful solid brass train whistle imitation. Perhaps the most realistic train whistle imitation we have ever heard, this solid brass whistle sounds like the real thing. The whistle is 11 3/4" in length with a full 2" diameter sounding chamber. The inside of the chamber is divided into four sections giving the whistle a rich multi-toned sound. The oustide of the whistle is solid brass with a beautiful patina. There is no discernable maker's mark or brand. This is a heavy trap that will produce a loud train whistle with no danger of overblowing. Sure to be a favorite whistle in any period sound effects collection.
