This is an early 1960's wooden shell Rogers Dynasonic in excellent condition. It's 5" x 14" solid maple shell is wrapped in all original, bright white marine pearl. The badge has the serial number 1803 making this one of the earliest Dynasonics produced. It is all original, aside from the modern heads and new string for the snare rack. Original parts include “tall boy” hoops, snare rack and snares, internal muffler, and 10 bread & butter lugs. This drum has not been played in many years so it is well preserved. As is typical for this era, a few of the “Bread & Butter” lugs show cracks, 3 on the snare side and 1 on the batter side, (some just hairline) but none are completely compromised. The WMP wrapped shell is in excellent condition with very little fading. The top rim has school identifying marks "ASU 15967" lightly scratched into the rim. It will be hard to find another “Bread and Butter” lug wooden shell Rogers Dynasonic snare drum from this era in better condition.
