Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
Rogers 8" maple shell tambourine with single row of 6 pairs of nickel silver jingles. As shown in the aattached 1960 Rogers catalog, this tambourine has a maple shell, stained to a walnut color. The calf head is original with an original Rogers stamp. All original jungles are present and the maple shell is in excellent condition. These Rogers tambourines are relatively light weight and easy to play. The nickel silver jingles have a light, bright sound that is unique to 1960's Rogers tambourines. This is a nice addition to a Rogers 1960's outfit or a great addition to an orchestral player's tambourine collection.
