Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
Vintage fangingle with three pair of standard sized nickel silver tambourine jingles on a 12" long spring steel handle. As shown in the 1920's Leedy catalog "N" attached, this fangingle can easily be played with one hand and is perfect for chamber music or period dance music. It produces a light jingle sound and when played as one of a pair can be played in very fast rhythms. Our fanginle is in perfect condition. The nickel plating is excellent and the hardwood handle is beautiful. This instrument is perfect for Lou Harrison repertoire and will make a great addition to any tambourine and trap collection.
