This is a Slingerland Parade King field drum from the 1970's in rare tangerine satin flame pearl wrap. As shown in the attached 1973 Slingerland catalog, the model 704 parade drum has a 10" x 14" shell and Zoomatic strainer. The tangerine satin flame wrap was offered for a short time by Slingerland making it one of the harder to find finishes from this era. It is in very good overall condition with some blemishes and scratches in the wrap but there are no breaks or cracks and it still has a bright tangerine orange color. It has the original Zoomatic strainer but many of the other parts have been replaced. The rims are chrome over steel triple flanged hoops, the tension rods are modern replacements and the butt plate has been upgraded. The interios of the drum is painted with a milk chocolate color. This is a great shell size for a deep drum set snare that will make a great rare addition to a tangerine satin flame outfit or drum line.
