Beautiful Slingerland tambourine set with art gold finish. Remarkable for its originality, completeness, and finish, this Slingerland tambourine and mount set is a rarity. As shown in the attached 1936 Slingerland catalog, the set includes a model no. 777 10" tambourine with a single row of jingles, model no. 1355 "Shur-Grip" short mounting post, and a model no.1295 "Shur-Grip" tambourine holder. All of the hardware has its original art gold finish in unpolished, as found condition. It has a beautiful dark gold patina with no rust or corrosion. All thumb screws are original and work perfectly. The tambourine has a beautiful dark brown shell with a nice Amrawco calf head. This rare set will make a unique addition to any period outfit.
