Very nice early 1950’s Slingerland 26 inch bass drum with natural mahogany ply shell. This is a nice single tension bass drum that has been complwetely refinished. The drum is in round and modern heads fit easily. One head is an Aquarian “vintage” medium weight and the other is an older Remo. The solid maple counter hoops are in terrific shape and all of the hardware is original except for a few of the claws. This drum is a nice, portable size for the working concert percussionist and could be used to build a vintage drum outfit around.
