This is a Slingerland brand genuine calf tom tom head in near mint condition with its original carboard sleave. This 16" head doesn't look like it was ever mounted on a drum. There is a small collar but there are no stick marks or stretch marks. The ink Slingerland genuine calc ink stamp is clearly visible. The original Slingerland head box is in good shape. There are a few tears to the top flap but both sides of the box are in nice shape with bright colors. This head and box will make for a nice display for the Slingerland collector or can be mounted and played on a floor tom for a real authentic vintage look.
