A beautiful, rare, Slingerland, Fancher model solid walnut 6 ½” x 14” snare drum with original tone flange and brass ring including leveling screws. This drum is complete with all original hardware with the exception of the internal mounting screws for the ten tube lugs. The drum has been nicely refinished to its original natural walnut . The badge was not removed during the refinishing and is nice condition. The shell is slightly out of round which does not affect the top head because it fits over the tone-flange. The tone flange is slightly larger than 14” requiring an oversized head. The head on this drum is a new quality calf head custom fit to this drum. The snares are Slingerland style 16 strand coiled wire. This attractive drum will make a great addition to a collection but is also a fine, playable drum.
