This is a rare Slingerland Festival model 10 lug snare drum with 10 sound king lugs from the mid-1970's. The drum is a bit of a time capsule with all original parts including both original Slingerland heads. These drums are more commonly found in the cheaper, 8 lug version. This 10 lug drum with a solid brass shell is essentially the same drum as the Super Gene Krupa model with a Rapid Strainer. All parts and plating are in perfect condition. Just about the only blemish on the drum is a pencil drawing on the batter head that could be cleaned off if desired. This is a great opportunity to get 10 lug, solid brass shell snare drum at a very modest price.
