This is a terrific Slingerland mid-1940's Radio King floor tom with original cradle in "as found" condition. This tom tom came from a mid-1940's outfit where the snare drum had an aluminum & maroon cloud badge. The black diamond pearl wrap has darkened over the years from a bluish color to a nice charcoal gray. All parts are original to the drum right down to the Radio King logo heads. Given the all-original condition of the drum we have left the drum in "as found" condition so the new owner can restore the drum as desired. Both nickel; over brass counter hoops have a Radio King stamp. The cradle has original rubber bumpers on each of the three arms. Everything works perfectly on the drum and all parts look original. The Radio King heads have some issues but will work fine as resonant heads or as display heads. This is a rare drum and cradle combination that will make a nice addition to a 1940's Radio King outfit.
