Description Specification

This is a 5 1/2" x14" Slingerland, Hollywood Ace snare drum with a date stamp of Dec. 1962. It has all original chrome plated hardware and newer heads. The chrome plated hardware, which was an upgrade for the era, is all in great condition. As described by the Slingerland catalog from the era,the drum has a 3 ply laminated wood shell, flanged counter hoops, eight self-aligning lugs and rods, rapid strainer and mirror like lacquered duco finish. This is a nice example of a Hollywood Ace from this era and will make a great addition to an early 1960's vintage Slingerland outfit.
