This is a nice 10”x15” White Marine Pearl (WMP) covered WFL field drum from the late 1950s. The mahogany ply shell is in great condition while the WMP wrap has slight even fading to a light creamy yellow which enhances the vintage look. The WMP has very little evidence of crazing, and is tight to the drum with a tight seam. Except for the chrome plated Ludwig throw-off all the hardware is original nickel plated and includes, 8 bowtie lugs, nickel over brass rims and tension rods and key holder. There are no extra holes in the shell. The butt clamp and badge are WFL. Old 1950s/early 60s Ludwig WeatherMaster top and bottom heads with nicely seated gut snares. This is a great sounding field drum. The 15" head size adds extra depth to the authentic field drum sound that will make a terrific addition to a player's snare drum collection.
