This is an incredibly rare pair of WFL WWII era SOC brushes that have never been used. These brushes have a completely unique design with wooden handles and heavy straw like brushes. They were designed to be made without an ounce of metal as part of the war effort to conserve metal for civilian activities. There is not a scratch or dent anywhere on this matched pair of SOC brushes. As shown in the attached archive photo (courtesy of Not So Modern Drummer), these brushes were proudly displayed in the WFL booth, along with WFL's WWII "Victorious" model drums, at the 1944 music trades convention at the Palmer House hotel in Chicago. This pair of brushes will make a unique addition to any stick or WFL collection and are a must have addition to any Victorious outfit.
