This is a unique pair of early Hinger bass drum rolling mallets with aluminum shafts, Like many of the early mallets made by Hinger. there is no Hinger stamp on the shaft but the combination of the fake fur heads, aluminum shafts and rubber grips with green tape make these unmistakable as genuine Hinger mallets. The shafts are 5/8" which is the same diameter as Hinger's most popular timpani mallets. The heads are 3 3/4" on diameter and covered with white fake fur. This is a great pair of vintage Hinger bass drum mallets that will make a nice addition for concert bass drum mallet collection.
