Hinger Private Collection Now Available

A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
Beautiful vintage, all original Leedy "Highboy" sock cymbal. This is one of the latest "Highboy" stands, produced in the 1940's before they became commonly referred to as "High Hat" stands. This stand is in excellent overall condition with original rubber feet and clutch. The cast aluminum footboard is clean and shows the classic script Leedy logo. All nickel plating is in excellent condition. One of the rubber feet has been re-attached and replaced with a slightly later version that is not noticeable. As shown in the attached 1943 Leedy catalog, these Highboy stands are a must have for any collector or player of Leedy 1940's outfits.
