As shown in the attached 1928 Ludwig catalog, this is a beautiful, all original Ludwig Professional Theater model snare drum stand. The center of the stand has a clear, early Ludwig & Ludwig stamp. The nickel plating on the lower, visible portion of the stand is in mint condition. There is a little plating loss on the drum support arms that is invisible when a drum is on the stand. The cast black base is also in excellent condition with some paint loss but no cracks or problems. This was the top of the line stand from the early 20th century and by far the most stable, playable stand from the era. This will make a great addition to any vintage outfit.
