Hinger Private Collection Now Available
A rare opportunity to own memorabilia and personal instruments collected and played by Fred D Hinger, famous percussionist/timpanist. This collection also includes unique instruments and protoypes developed for the Hinger Touch Tone Corporation.
This is a beautiful Ludwig "High-Boy" hi-hat stand with deep cup cymbals from 1928. As shown in the attached 1928 Ludwig catalog, this sock cymbal effect puts the 10" deep cup brass cymbals at a nice 32" playing height. This precursor to the modern hi-hat is in perfect working order with all original parts and no rust. It's a show quality stand that will make a nice finishing touch to any period outfit. Comes complete with stand, 10" deep cup brass cymbals, and mickey mouse ears clutch.
