Great sounding early 20th century auto reed horn. As shown in an original 1920's catalog, these horns were designed to be used in the early 20th century automobiles. a light squeeze on the replacement rubber bulb produces a terrific honking just like the model T's of the past. This horn has an 8 " oval bell that produces a very loud honk This auto horn came from a collection of traps used by a vaudeville era drummer so the brass tubing has been lightly coated with black paint for ue in a pit. The black paint can easily be removed to expose the brass underneath. This is a unique sound effect that is perfect for all situations from silent movie accompaniment to the concert stage.
